Zamalek SC Becomes First Team To Reach 2025/26 CAF Confederation Cup Final

Zamalek SC have become the first team to secure a place in the final of the 2025/26 CAF Confederation Cup, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The Egyptian giants booked their spot after playing out a goalless draw against CR Belouizdad in the second leg of their semi-final clash. 

Having secured a 1-0 victory in the first leg, Zamalek advanced to the final with a 1-0 aggregate scoreline.

The result was enough to see the Cairo-based club progress, as they maintained their advantage from the first encounter with a disciplined defensive performance away from home.

Zamalek will now await the winner of the other semi-final tie between USM Alger and OC Safi.

The final of the competition is scheduled to be played over two legs, with the first leg set to take place on May 9 in either Algeria or Morocco, while the return leg will be held in Cairo on May 16.
