Zambia have named a strong final squad for the 2026 Women's Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) as the Copper Queens gear up for a challenging Group C campaign, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The Southern African side will face defending champions Nigeria's Super Falcons, Egypt and Malawi in what is expected to be one of the tournament's most competitive groups.

The Copper Queens will be aiming to make a deep run at the continental showpiece while maintaining their impressive record as the only African women's national team to have qualified for every senior FIFA global tournament this decade.

With several experienced stars included in the squad, Zambia are expected to provide a stern test for their Group C rivals, particularly nine-time African champions Nigeria, as they battle for a place in the knockout stage.
