AFCON 2019: Tickets sales begin April 15th By Sampson Adedeji Preparations for the forthcoming 2019 African Cup of Nations continue as Confederation of African Football (CAF) has confirmed that the first set of tickets will go on sales between 15th to 20th of April. According to CAF the tickets will cover from opening match to match no 37, while the date for the second sale will soon be announced. This is the first time 24 teams will take part the Africa soccer biggest showpiece hence, more matches will be played. Cameroon was stripped off the hosting right of the competition in late 2018 after they failed to meet up with required standard in terms of facilities. Egypt will host the competition in the summer with the draw slated for Cairo on April 12.
