Efe Ambrose Returns to Scotland

After few months without a club, Nigeria's Super Eagles defender Efe Ambrose has returned to Scottish Premier League.

Ambrose last played for the English championship side Derby County last season but was unable to play for Rams in any competitive match, BSN Reports.

Livingston Football Club on Tuesday evening announced his capture and was unveiled with jersey number 25.

" Livingston FC is delighted to announce the signing of Nigerian defender Efe Ambrose on an 18-month-contract.

A well-known face in the Scottish game having racked up almost 200 appearances in his time at Celtic FC and Hibernian FC.

Efe joins having most recently been signed with Derby County in the English Championship. In his time at Celtic, the defender lifted four Premiership titles before winning the Championship at the first attempt with Hibernian, helping the Easter Road side back to the top flight.

With over 50 Nigeria caps to his name too, Efe won the African Cup of Nations in 2013 and was named in the AFCON

Team of the Tournament.
Efe was unveiled to the press in our new media room this afternoon along with Gary Holt & former Hibs teammate, Marvin Bartley.

Efe will wear the number 25 shirt and goes straight into the squad for Saturday’s trip to old club, Hibernian", the club stated.
