Nigeria's Super Eagles midfielder Joe Aribo made headlines in Ranger's UEFA Europa League win over Braga of Portugal on Thursday night.

Since the commencement of the season, the combative midfielder has been outstanding both on the domestic and Europe, BSN Reports.

The Portuguese side gave a good account of themselves and took the lead through Fransergio in the 11th minute, while Abel Ruiz added the second a minute before the hour mark.

Ianis Hagi reduced the deficit for Rangers in the 67th minute.

Aribo, who came in for Glen Kamara in the 54th minute, equalised for the Gers in the 75th minute.

Hagi netted the winning goal for the hosts eight minutes from time.

Aribo is expected to be one of the player that will be invited for the 2021 African Cup of Nations qualifier against Sierra Leone.
