Europa league: Dennis Scores as Ighalo's Manchester United hold Club Brugge

It was a story of two Nigeria international facing one another in the UEFA Europa league match played on Thursday night in Belgium in a match involving Club Brugge of Belgium and England's Manchester United.

The Belgian side has two Nigerians Emmanuel Dennis and David Okereke while Manchester United has former Super Eagles forward Odion Ighalo but only Dennis that started the match, BSN Reports.

Former Abuja Football Academy starlet proved his mettle as opened the scoring for Brugge in the 15th minute of the encounter.

He put the Red Devil defender on their toes with his blistering runs from the wings.

Antonio Martial equalised for United in the 54th minute of the game before he was substituted for Ighalo who put up another wonderful performance for the club.

The third Nigerian Okereke was unused substitute in the keenly played match that ended in a 1-1 draw.

The second leg will come up at Old Trafford in England next week.
