FCT FA Commiserates With Rivers, Ogun FAs, Remo Stars

The Board, FCT Football Association has expressed grief over the death of the vice chairman of the Rivers State Football Association, Chief Omineokuma-Kile, who, according to report died of heart attack on Thursday.
The FCT FA commiserated with the Rivers Football Association and the family of the deceased and pray that God grant them the fortitude to bear the loss.
The football governing body in the capital city also described as sad, the untimely death of assistant captain of Remo Stars, Kazeem Tiamiyu who died on Saturday in Shagamu allegedly killed by the Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS).
In a condolence message sent by the association, the Board while condoling with entire Board of the Ogun State Football Association and Remo Stars described the unfortunate incident as a great loss to all Nigerian football family.
"We are sad when we heard the death of Remo Stars assistant captain, Kazeem Tiamiyu demise who died on Saturday in an unfortunate situation. The Association condemned it in its entirety and urge the State Commissioner of Police to begin an investigation to unravel who is behind the cutting short the career of the young player.
"We commiserate with his (Kaseem) family and Ogun State Football Association under the leadership Alahji Ganiyu Majekodunmi and pray that God almighty grant the family and football fraternity the fortitude to bear the loss.
