FIFA U20: We knew Ukraine will be difficult - Aigbogun By Sampson Adedeji After securing a place in the round of 16 of the ongoing FIFA U20 World Cup in Poland, Nigeria's Flying Eagles coach Paul Aigbogun has stated the reasons the team struggled against Ukraine. The Nigeria side laboured to secured a 1-1 draw in the last group match played on Friday and there were complains among Nigerians following not too impressive performance of the team. The soft-spoken coach reacted while speaking to BSN Sports on the match and he further speaks on the potential opponent in the next round. "We knew is going to be difficult because we check them and realized they are a well organised team and has a good ability. We thought in the first half that either win or draw it will going to take you through they were bit tensed, they have a penalty they missed and we tried not to concede but when they conceded, all we have to tell them is to going in there on second half and expressed themselves. We knew we needs to score and remain in the tournament and they did just that. Playing Senegal, its Africa to Africa they are a very good side, we respect them but we don't fear them, am sure they will look at us too, we knew each other from Africa competition and we watch them play . Any team will play in the competition now is not going to be easy," he concluded. Nigeria finished third in the group with 4 points after winning 1 game, drawing 1 and losing the other.
