The reports coming from Egypt indicated that former Secretary General of the Confederation of Africa Football ( CAF) Amr Fahmy has passed away at 37, BSNSports.com.ng can report.

The soft spoken former scribe has been going through serious health challenges in recent time, BSN Reports.

He went through brain surgery at some point to right the wrong and was said to be recovering very fast.

Fahmy was eased out of the CAF by its present president Ahmad Ahmad after series of unending conflicts and misunderstanding.

Before his demise on Sunday, Fahmy has declared his intention to run for the post of CAF Presidency.
