French Lique One: Moses Simon Returns In Nantes Win

Injured Nigeria's Super Eagles winger Moses Simon has returned to action for his French Lique One side Nantes in their 1-3 away win over Olympic Marseille, BSNSports.com.ng can report.

The former Gent of Belgium attacker was injured in their last match and was substituted before the end of the encounter.

Nantes played away at Stade De Velodrome in France to Marseille and it was Simon who led the line and posed a constant threat to the host.

Anthony Limbobe opened the scoring for Nantes in the 34th minute before Morgan Sanson equalized for the host in the 39th minute.

Simon was booked in the 45th minute of the game for a dangerous play.

Kader Bamba made it 1-2 for Nantes in the 53rd minute before an own goal from Marseille defender Alvaro Gonzalez sealed the 1-3 win for Nantes.

The return of Simon will gladden the heart of Super Eagles coach Gernot Rohr as draw up his list of players for 2021 African Cup of Nations qualifier against Sierra Leone.
