Owoeri joins another Chinese second tier club

Former Nigeria's international John Owoeri continued his sojourn in the Chinese league as he moved to another second tier side on Friday.

Shaanxin Changan Athletic on Friday confirmed the capture of former junior international from another second tier side Shanghai Shexin.

The 32 year old joined the Shanghai side last summer but has limited opportunity to express himself in the team.

Changan Athletic made it the third club in the Chinese league that will sign the Nigeria speed star.

Owoeri was part of the Nigeria U20 side 2005 that won silver at the FIFA U20 World cup in Holland alongside John Mikel Obi, Chinedu Obasi to mention but few under coach Samson Siasia.
