Nigeria Striker Fires Hattrick in Ethiopia League

Former Sunshine Stars striker Okiki Afolabi continued to make headlines in the Ethiopia premier league with Mekelle 70.

Afolabi moved to Ethiopia few years back when he joined Jibba Abba Jifar and ended up highest goal scorer and also helped the club clinched the league title for the first time in its history, BSN Reports.

He was the hero again on Wednesday as scored his first hat trick for Mekelle 70 in the 5-1 thrashing of Hawassa Ketema.

His goals brought life back to the team that has suffered defeat in back to back matches.

The victory ensured that Mekelle stay third on the table with 25 points in 14 games.

Afolabi has so far scores 6 goals in the ongoing season.
