NNL: Crown FC Defeat Ibom Youth FC To Consolidate On Top of B4 Table By Admin The impenetrable defense wall, unprecedented pressure on the visitors, resilient and energetic prowess coupled with unrelenting efforts displayed by Crown FC gave the Ajilete Warriors the three (3) maximum points needed to stay atop the Group B4 log table. The supporters, fans and football lovers were full of excitement as the Oyekale led boys bombed Ibom Youths FC by two beautiful goals at the Soun Stadium in the Week Six (6) fixtures of the Nigeria National League (NNL) on Saturday 18th May ,2019. The Ajilete Warriors showed that they had vision, were coherent and strongly determined as they kept pressurizing the Emmanuel Akpan led boys from the blast of the whistle to the very end. Several frantic efforts by Adeyemi Adeyeye and Isah Seidu were not enough to give the Ajilete Warriors a lead as the first half ended goalless with Moses Nsikak sent off the pitch for an elbow that gave Oginni Olatunbosun a deep cut in the fortieth minute (40th). Like wounded lions, the Ajilete Warriors started the second half full of energy with Muazu Taiwo's led well coordinated midfield seeing balls pushed to the flanks resulting in fantastic pull outs from the duo of Emmanuel Amana and Oginni Olatunbosun but all headers upfront did not find the net as Loveday Anugbuo, in goal for the guest, gave a very good account of himself. Succour came in the sixty sixth (66th) minute for the homers when Oginni Olatunbosun was charged from behind in the box by John Marshal and the centre referee signal a spot kick in favour of Crown FC. Francis Olanrewaju, the new entrant for Bode Daniel in the forty eighth (48th) converted the spot kick to put the Ajilete Warriors in the lead. Not satisfied with the goal margin, the Ajilete Warriors intensified pressure and this saw the game being played in the guests half throughout with occasional counter from Ibom Youths FC. Isah Seidu doubled the lead for the Rollanson motivated lads in the eighty second (82nd) minute when his ballistic shot passed in between the legs of the guests safe hands,Loveday Anugbuo. "We bless God because He made it happen. We ended the game the way we started because he knew the importance of the game. Ibom Youths FC is a good side too but we appreciate God for the victory,' Isah Seidu told pressmen after the outstanding performance. Crown FC still tops the Group B4 log table with ten (10) points from six (6) games.
