The former Gombe United coach blamed his team loss to match officials biased officiating as well as his lads lost of concentration in the second half of the derby game. Speaking with www.bsnsports.com.ng after the game, he said: "We lost concentration in the second half of the game and then the penalty awarded by the center referee is not worth it at all. My defender handed the ball outside the penalty box but the referee think otherwise and pointed to the spot which led to NAF FC equaliser." Despite EFCC FC loss to NAF FC coach Popo still believed that they have all it takes to top their group table and still qualify for the playoff. "We have to go back home and work harder to get a maximum three points in our next match. We lacked that push . We are however confident of gaining promotion to the NPFL at the end of the season. Our target this season is to get one of the available tickets to the NPFL."
