Bala Nkiyu Return Ends Enyimba Winning Streak
Nasarawa United on Sunday defeated Enyimba International 2-0 to end their six matches unbeaten streak in one of the Nigeria Professional Football League match-day 21 decided at the Lafia City Stadium, BSNSports.com.ng can report.
Enyimba FC before the Sunday loss have won all their last six matches in all competitions, winning three away and three home matches. The two-time African champions had defeated Kwara United, Abia Warriors (home and away), Wikki Tourists and MFM FC all in the domestic league. Enyimba started the good form with a 5-2 home defeat to San Pedro in the CAF Confederation Cup.

Bala Nkiyu, who led the team to win the Ahlan Preseason trophy in Kano left the Nasarawa state based club last year only to be recalled to put the team back on track.
His first match in charge has returned smiles on the faces of the Solid Miners fans with a shock win over Enyimba FC.
Chinedu Ohanachom 33rd minute strike and Dauda Maigishiri 87th security goal was all Nasarawa United needed to leave the bottom of the NPFL table. The Solid Miners now have 22 points from 20 matches.
