Olubadan unveils Sport Academy in Ibadan By Admin For the development and promotion of Sports in Ibadan and Oyo State at large, Olubadan of Ibadan, HRH Oba Salihu Akanmu Adetunji unveiled a Sport Academy in Ibadan, Oyo State. The Academy which has acronym "RACBAR" was invented by Ambassador Romoke Ayinde also known as Kayrom Lee. In an elaborate ceremony which was held at the Innovation building witnessed dignitaries within and beyond the state, which includes the Ibadan High Chiefs ( Mogajis), Commissioner for Youth and Sports Mr Abayomi Oke, CEO Alliance France among others. According to Ambassador Romoke, "I put together this academy to encourage and motivate children in and out of school to achieve their dream and set goal. The academy has being structured in a way that the children will be able to combine sports with education without one affecting the other", she concluded. She further stated that qualified and professional coaches has being employed to coach and educate the children on the choosing sports. RACBAR involved ball games, Rackets games, Aquatic and Rings sports.
