By Sampson Adedeji

Nigeria's Super Eagles defender Efe Ambrose made his debut for his new club in the Scottish premier league Livingston FC at a familiar ground Easter Road against former team Hibernian.

Ambrose joined Livingston during the week as a free agent after he ended his short stint with English Championship side Derby County last summer, BSN Reports.

Despite not playing competitive football for almost a year Ambrose started the match and played the whole duration of the match that ended in 1-1 draw.

Livingston remain unmoved in fifth spot with 38 points after 28 games.

Ambrose will again face his former team when Livingston face Celtic in their next match.
