The renowed Nigeria made boxer and world heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua is to be given a chieftancy title in the Yoruba clan.

The title is "Ajagungbade" of Yoruba kingdom, in English it means fighting to win a crown or a great fighter of all time who wins a crown. This is line with his profession.

The title is to be given at his hometown, Sagamu in Ogun state. The boxer who has left the country after a short visit has told the public he will be back in March to claim the title but failed to assure the kingmakers and chiefs on whether he will accept or not.

However, the monarchs of Ogun state and all indigenous people want him to accept the title saying he deserves it.

A big congratulations to AJ in advance if he should accept the title.
